Best School of Agricultural Sciences

Agriculture is the backbone of our country and plays an important role in the Indian economy. It contributes 17% of the total GDP. The Indian government is focused on generating modern technology and techniques to develop the agriculture sector.

One way to achieve this is by opening specialized agriculture institutions and raising agriculture and allied activities of specific courses. This has led to the increased popularity of BSc. Agriculture, which is a four-year professional course that focuses on research and practices in agricultural sciences.

BSc. Agriculture provides training to implement modern agricultural techniques and technology in the real world. It requires skills such as willingness to work in the agriculture sector, excellent communication skills, entrepreneurship development skills, and good knowledge about agriculture.

After completing BSc. Agriculture, students have a number of career options such as pursuing higher studies, working in agricultural research, becoming an agricultural officer, working in the agricultural finance department, or working in the agro industry sector.

Academic Year

Academic Year

An academic year is a period of two consecutive semesters, including a break between them. The first year of study is the first and second semesters, the second year is the third and fourth semesters, the third year is the fifth and sixth semesters, and the fourth year is the seventh and eighth semesters.

In other words, students will take two semesters per year, and each semester will last for about 16 weeks. There will be a break between each semester, which is usually about 2 weeks long.

Study Tours

Study tours are compulsory for all students. If you miss a study tour for any reason, you will need to re-register and take the tour with the next group of students. This is necessary to complete the degree program.

The reason for making study tours compulsory is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn and experience the material that is being taught in the classroom. Study tours can provide students with a unique perspective on the subject matter and can help them to apply what they are learning in a real-world setting.

Study tours will be conducted on the dates specified by the Dean. The course teacher(s) responsible for the tour will evaluate the students' participation and performance according to the evaluation procedure for study tours.

In other words, the study tours will be held on the dates that the Dean has announced. The course teacher(s) who are responsible for the tour will evaluate the students' participation and performance based on the criteria that have been established for study tours.
